Tracey Huff

Director of Projects and Implementations

Tracey serves as Director of Projects and Implementations at Venturity. Tracey heads up a team of professionals who onboard new clients when they join Venturity. The team provides hands on attention in the early stage of the relationship to ensure the right foundation is established and appropriate processes are implemented. The goal is to quickly improve the accounting and related processes and create a smooth transition to the clients’ on-going accounting team at Venturity.

Tracey’s team also works on accounting projects for new and existing clients for work that is outside of the normal scope. The team has led a variety of projects such as accounting clean-up, process improvement, budgeting, audit support, and software setup and training.

Tracey joined Venturity in 2006 as Assistant Controller where she assisted in the close process and preparation of financial statements for Venturity clients. In 2007, she moved to the special project group as Project Manager. In 2008, she was promoted to her current role as Director of Projects and Implementations.

Prior to joining Venturity, Tracey was Senior Vice President and Manager of a commercial lending group at a regional bank. Tracey spent the first 13 years of her career in commercial banking where she worked closely with owners of privately held businesses. Throughout her professional career, she has focused on creating solutions for small- to medium- sized entrepreneurial businesses.

Tracey earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas in 1992 and she received a Masters of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in 1997. She is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Tracey has served in various leadership roles with community and professional organizations and is an active member of her local church. She lives in Canton with her husband, Justin, and has two daughters.
